BT-Watzke America is the USA and Canada Headquarters for BT-Watzke GmbH Austria which is the capsules and screw cap producer for over 125 years. BT-Watzke America is looking for a highly qualified Sales Manager for the California region.
Regional Sales Manager-California. Inside and Outside Sales Rep-sales of capsules and screwcaps to wineries.
As Sales Manager for California Region, you will have proven previous experience working in the wine industry of California. You will be supported by the head office in Oregon. You will be self-motivated and self-driven, highly organized, professional and able to run the California operations by yourself.
As an Inside and Outside Sales Rep You Will:
• Travel within sales territory to meet prospects and customers
• Finding and establishing new clients and face-to-face meetings with customers daily
• Build and maintain relationships with new and repeat customers from our current database
• Maintain records of all sales leads and/or customer accounts
• Finding customer solutions regarding capsules and/or screw caps
• Sell the company’s products to customers within your given territory
• Monitor the industry, new products, and market conditions to understand a customer's specific needs.
• Proven sales experience
• Track record of achieving goals and quotas
• Familiarity with geography of sales territory
• Good in general office skills
• Strong communication, and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated and driven
• Experience with capsules and closures is not necessary but is a plus.
• Experience with bottling lines and technical knowledge of capsule applications is a plus.
You will receive product training on all of our product lines. We seek somebody who is familiar with the wine industry in California and sales experience to wineries in this region is a large plus. It will be your responsibility to represent BT-Watzke’s capsules and screw capsules in the area and grow the market.
