Job Description:

Position Purpose

Acting on own initiative, the HR Systems Administrator is primarily responsible for supporting HR related systems front-end and not limited to Employee Central (HRIS), Compensation, Talent Management, Learning Management and Analytics. Key responsibilities include providing system related administrative services across all HR disciplines such as complex front-end configuration and back-end provisioning/system infrastructure that supports the front-end, overseeing system updates, writing test scripts, testing, documenting processes and procedures, and conducting training. This role provides direct support to the HR team to ensure accurate and actionable data for HR programs and initiatives within area of responsibility.

Essential Duties

•  Ensures data quality and integrity in related HR owned databases, systems, and interfaces specifically Employee Central, initiates and performs necessary audits to test data, and makes recommendations for process and integrity improvements to provide actionable and accurate information to the business
•  Provides complex front end administration and back end provisioning such as configure system features, turn on or off purchased modules, upload templates, uploading data models and job scheduling, Dell Boomi replication tool, certificate renewals, system updates and quarterly release opt-in features, adding new modules, jam integration, payroll Integration, session timeout warning messages, document attachment storage and limits, applications (EC, ECP), position hierarchy and proxy
•  Performs complex front-end configuration, troubleshooting and escalating for all SuccessFactors errors/challenges (ViNES)
•  Works & nbsp;directly with the vendors (SAP) to escalation of issues/errors/troubleshooting functionality (ViNES)
•  Responsible for configuration changes and enhancements for ViNES, Compensation and Talent Management (fields/screens)
•  Provides guidance to HRIS Analyst on more complex configurations and advanced reporting
•  Administers role-based permissions for all HR systems by creating new accounts and managing access permissions
•  Works directly with IS on any technical issues relating to HR systems, network, active directory; troubleshoots and resolves end user issues
•  Accountable for maintaining data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data
•  Provides support and guidance/training to system administrators in HR Ops team of HR systems (Workforce and Vines only); provides end user training as needed
•  Evaluates applicable quarterly release features for system impacts and makes recommendations; oversees execution of such upgrades in conjunction with the IS department
•  Participates in system governance groups to understand direction and guidelines for HR system integration and use at the organizational level
•  Facilitates process change discussion to ensure collaboration between user groups
•  Collaborates with Director HR Operations, Business Relationship Manager (IS), and vendors (as needed) to develop, maintain and analyze reports and queries to support HR-related programs and projects. (same as HR Analyst, but reporting related)
•  Documents and maintains system administration processes and procedures for our Playbooks
•  Inputs, updates, and revises hierarchy, salary structures, bonus programs, and/or changes pertaining to new hires, organizational structure, pay, position, etc. within applicable HR systems
•  Develops and meets HR reporting requirements
•  Provides trends, statistical analysis, and creates advanced ad-hoc reports
•  Partners with stakeholders (HR leaders, managers, and employees) as needed to ensure accuracy, timeliness, delivery, and completeness of HR data and reports
•  Interprets related data to help drive the decision making process

•  Serves as the primary Subject Matter Expert (SME) for SuccessFactors system (EC Vines) and secondary for Workforce Timekeeping Systems to support and/or lead implementation projects as assigned
•  Handles all form/document changes/launches for SuccessFactors modules
•  Coordinates with IS for Certification Renewals and System Updates; performs testing to ensure updates are working properly

Minimum Requirements

Education and Experience

•  Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent knowledge gained through formal education, specialized training, or additional job experience)
•  5 or more years of related work experience
•  Prior experience administering enterprise level HRIS (SuccessFactors, SAP, Oracle, Workday, ADP, PeopleSoft or JD Edwards)
•  Proven experience with HR systems, specifically implementation and data/report maintenance
•  Proven knowledge of all facets of HR including concepts, processes and data, including rules and procedures
•  Experience in business process design and process mapping
•  Experience with Reporting and Data Analytics

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

•  Builds and utilizes knowledge base of HR systems to support HR's goals
•  Ability to quickly learn technical concepts
•  Advanced to expert level MS Office (Excel; Word; PowerPoint)
•  Strong attention to detail, analytical, and problem solving skills
•  Good understanding of functional groups that impact or are impacted by HR systems and processes (i.e. compensation, payroll, and benefits)
•  Strong knowledge of US/CA Employment and Payroll laws a plus
•  Customer focused and consultative style of addressing issues and solutions
•  Excellent at prioritizing multiple tasks, managing conflicting deadlines and working effectively in a dynamic environment; understands when to escalate issues
