Golden State Cider is seeking a Marketing Lead with a strong grasp of current marketing tools and strategies who can lead integrated marketing campaigns from concept to execution and launch campaigns on time and on budget.
The ideal candidate will be able to gain a clear understanding of the company’s vision, mission and strategic objectives for a comprehensive digital marketing strategy program to build brand awareness, recruit new GSC fans and increase sales and ROI.
Execute brand vision, values and mission for GSC. Build demand for GSC.
Establish our Marketing Plan to support our brand values/mission: share with all GSC
employees and distributors- work with all parties weekly to achieve the goals set
Develop and execute annual key Marketing Initiatives: ensuring each brings increased
brand awareness and ROI. Use fact-based sales tracking to monitor each initiatives
Decide on a department structure and set a timeline for new hires as we grow the
Decide and execute a pricing strategy for GSC
Develop Apple Education Materials for all audiences
Develop meaningful relationships with distributor marketing teams
Approve/Deny all events and donation requests
Manage all printing, design and décor: ensure all has consistent top level brand
Collaborate with executive team and head cider maker on new products
Decide social media strategy for all channels: manage content
Decide on which key events we will participate in
Develop relationships with key partner companies that share the same values as GSC
Establish our PR strategy: Implement with key partners to each focused consumer tier
Develop the monthly newsletter for GSC customers + supporters
Manage graphic design for all components of the brand
Manage all video content for GSC
Lead Tap Room marketing strategy
With head cider maker, develop cider education strategy for constituencies including
trade groups. Create continued education program for sales team and distributors
Develop impactful POS to broaden brand awareness: online, distributors, consumers
and tap room store.
Serve as the hub for all GSC internal department communication – excite and motivate
the teams and provide clear, effective brand communication across departments
Build and maintain a marketing projects pipeline- ensure all deadlines are met
Other Digital Marketing tasks as outlined by the CEO
Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in fine art design, marketing, communications, or related field of study preferred.
3+ years proven experience in a lead marketing role
Adaptive design eye and skill
Excellent communication skills
Up to date with industry leading software and design technologies
Professionalism regarding time, costs and deadlines
