Job Description:

Long Meadow Ranch is a family-owned agricultural enterprise producing grapes and wine, olives and olive oil, grass-fed beef and lamb, fruits, vegetables, and eggs in the Napa Valley, Anderson Valley and Marin County. The many-faceted operation includes the 650-acre LMR Mayacamas Estate home ranch located in the Mayacamas Mountains above Rutherford and the 90-acre LMR Rutherford Estate, located on the Rutherford Bench, and, in Mendocino County, the 145-acre LMR Anderson Valley Estate. The Long Meadow Ranch operations also include an acclaimed farm-to-table restaurant, a general store and wine tasting bar in the historic Logan-Ives House, an outdoor cafe, a farmer's market, working garden and a variety of unique event spaces all located at Farmstead at Long Meadow Ranch.

Long Meadow Ranch is looking for a confident telephone sales and customer service professional to join our growing team as a Consumer Sales Specialist. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is eloquent, personable and friendly, motivated by sales goals, and has a passion for wine and food.

-Make a minimum of 80 outbound sales calls per day to current and past DTC Club members and customers
-Present unique wine offers to customers based on their wine preferences and on marketing initiatives
-Reactivate cancelled club memberships
-Create and maintain long-lasting relationships with members
-Correspond with customers via phone and email using CRM tools
-Meet or exceed sales goals and membership goals
-Offer superior customer service and concierge-style help
-Promote winery and restaurant events
-Communicate all customer feedback to management
-Handle customer complaints and forward to management for review
Keep customer data up-to-date
-Assist in wine club and DTC administration
-Represent Long Meadow Ranch in a professional manner 

Education, Experience and Required Skills:
-High school diploma or equivalent (college degree a plus)
-Wine certification a plus
-Experience in telemarketing sales and customer service
-Strong ability to overcome objections and close sales
-Professional and pleasant phone manner
-Proven track record of exceeding sales goals
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Ability to work independently to achieve sales goals
-Proficiency in computers, CRM systems and phone systems
-Proficiency in spreadsheet programs such as Excel or Google Sheets
-Experience with a telesales platform such as PhoneBurner
-Experience with an e-commerce system such as WineDirect
-Ability to lift 40+ pounds
-A pre-employment investigative consumer report is required 

Compensation and Benefits:
-Part Time hourly and Full Time hourly positions
-Competitive compensation depending on experience plus 401(k) for Part Time. Full Time include medical/dental insurance benefits and paid sick and vacation time.
