We’re looking for a Wine Production Manager for the Scout & Cellar brand, and all of the brands within it.
Here’s what you’ll do:
Order, track, and maintain production materials for packaging bulk wines and liquids
Schedule and manage bottling and any other production operations
Ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and product care at all times
Act as/work with enologist for lab testing of wines and liquids
Work with supply chain team to plan timely product shipments and availability
Work collaboratively with VP of Supply Chain to launch new initiatives, track delivery and performance
Prioritize and manage multiple projects with a high level of detail in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment
Determine the most efficient sequence of operations and workflow, and recommend methods for maximum asset and people utilization
Recommend methods for improving associate efficiency and reducing waste of time and effort, such as restructuring job duties, reorganizing workflow and job setup
In partnership with VP of Supply Chain, identify ways to build and implement talent capabilities at all levels while identifying opportunities for training and development
Foster a collaborative, innovative, results-oriented environment characterized by timely, accurate workflow and production
Here’s what you must bring to the table:
Bachelor’s Degree in business, enology, or related field; bonus points for MBA
5+ years of experience in the wine industry and/or CPG space; some wine industry experience is required
2+ years of team leadership experience
3+ years and proven track record of operations, project and/or change management experience
Passion for wine and the industry along with considerable knowledge of wine styles and winemaking principles
Successful track record of taking projects from concept to commercialization
Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Expert level verbal and written communication skills
Ability to drive initiatives and accept accountability for leading teams, projects and quality
Proven expert level organizational skills with the analytical ability to problem-solve, multi-task, and prioritize effectively
