Job Description:
Temporary Harvest Position, beginning in August and lasting through October. Come work and learn alongside our two-person winemaking crew as we navigate through a 200 ton harvest. We harvest seven different varietals, from thirteen different vineyards, grown in six separate appellations (mostly in Sonoma County). Help us manage and control making seventeen single-vineyard wines. We craft Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from Chalone and Gap’s Crown Vineyard, Old-Vine Zinfandel from Maple Vineyards and others in Dry Creek Valley. We begin the harvest with Sauvignon Blanc from our Estate Vineyard in the Russian River Valley and end harvest with Cabernet Sauvignon from Stuhlmuller Vineyard in Alexander Valley.

Lift 50 lbs. and be able to stand for long lengths of time
Works well outdoors, sometimes in difficult environments
Work well within a fast-paced, small team environment
Harvest and Forklift experience helpful, but not required

Job Duties:
Cleaning and Sanitizing of equipment
Pumpovers and Punchdowns
Sorting and Processing fruit
Barrel Cleaning and Filling

Armida Winery is located on the southern border of Dry Creek Valley, off of Westside Road, only 5 minutes from downtown Healdsburg, Ca. For the last 25 years two brothers, Bruce and Steve Cousins, have been dedicated to producing world-class wines from highly sought-after vineyards throughout Sonoma County. Armida Winery specializes in old-vine Zinfandel and making Poizin, but is well known for single-vineyard Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Cabernet.
