Job Description:

The open concierge position centers around the answering of phones, greeting of guests and club members, assisting guests with choosing their wine experience and introducing them to their host as well as navigating the traffic flow. This person must be enthusiastic, charismatic, and passionate about providing exceptional guest experiences. People skills and the ability to multi-task are a must along with working with the public and in a team environment. Previous winery experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
•  Enthusiastically welcome our guests into the winery
•  Help guests with navigating tasting experiences and explaining options
•  Booking experiences via phone, gathering necessary information in a professional and friendly manner
•  Providing general tourist information to guests and clients both over the phone and in person
•  Assist with hospitality special events as needed
•  Utilize POS system to process tasting fees and wine orders
•  Work collaboratively with Hospitality Management to organize and manage the daily customer experience
•  Interact with guests and provide information on other wineries to visit, dining options, etc.
•  Creating, printing and collating collateral for guest experiences and special events
•  Ensuring all guests receive the highest level of customer service both over the phone and in person
•  Detail oriented, hospitality driven with exceptional communication skills
•  Occasionally wash and polish glassware and assist with table flips and set-up
•  Other tasks as assigned

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
•  Experience: One to two years of customer service in retail and/or tasting room environment
•  Education: Some college education preferred. Highs School required
Strong verbal communication skills required
•  Experience and ease with Outlook, Microsoft Office and calendar functions
•  Ability to multi task, attention to detail and consistent follow through
•  Cash handling, computer, and cash register experience is highly desirable
•  Attentiveness, calmness, and creativity in dealing with customers
•  Ability to think and react quickly under pressure

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
•  Ability to regularly scale a flight of 46 stairs
•  Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
•  Must be 21 years or older
•  Must have clear vision and hearing
•  Assist with receiving and restocking of wine and/or merchandise
•  Ability to communicate information in a clear, understandable speaking voice
•  Ability to work in a standing or seated position for extended periods of time and the ability to walk (for long periods of time) for purpose of event coordination
•  Capable of following directions and effectively communicate with co-workers and customers by telephone, email, and in person
