This position is an entrepreneurial opportunity for a self-motivated, sales-and-service-driven individual that would like to be part of a fast-growing organization. It requires an energetic and engaging personality that has a passion for wine and excels at face-to-face customer service. You will also help oversee and provide guidance to a team of individuals that share a passion for wine in order to create optimal experiences for customers. The position also requires a requisite attention to detail executing back-office and maintenance activities.
Seeking an outgoing, energetic, enthusiastic team-player to lead by example. Day-to-day responsibilities include guided tastings, wine sales and education, maintaining relationships with long-standing club members, staff, and partners, and managing inventory, signage and scheduling.
Prior retail management and basic knowledge of POS operations and Microsoft Office preferred.
The Core Job Responsibilities are:
Create great customer experiences through wine tastings, education on Airfield history and wines; generate new ideas to boost wine sales and keep Airfield fresh in the market.
Deliver a VIP-level tasting/concierge experience for club members; Turn new or fringe customers into wine club members; Create and implement enticing new wine club events.
Help organize, plan, and staff off-site promotions and events, in-house Wine Club and additional events, private events, and facility rentals.
Create relationships with wineries and businesses in Woodinville area to increase referrals; Get people to visit Airfield Prosser; Work within marketing budget to promote our brand in the Seattle Area; Work with the Seattle Area Distributor to call on retail accounts and staff Seattle area tastings
Merchandising & Inventory
Oversee Wine and Gift Merchandising; Create signage/displays; Perform inventory management
Make weekly cash deposits; Reconcile cash registers; Work closely with the Accounting team
