Seeking individual with good and CONSISTENT people skills, a basic understanding of wine, and a passion for more natural & clean wines. Our wine tastings are a far more in depth educational experience than common to other wineries, based on our philosophy of Native Yeast winemaking and minimalist techniques for true expression of terroir. Thus candidate must be trainable to meet performance expectation (must be able to LEARN).
We are a small winery, and prioritize a drama-free environment. Candidate must be a TEAM PLAYER. The environment can at times be exceedingly busy, and at other times rather mellow.
Individual will work in rotation with other staff. If this is your primary job, more hours are possible. If you hold another full time job, then generally your scheduling will be one day per weekend; and more only when need arises.
Primary shifts are Saturday and Sunday Daytimes, with occasional friday days, and occasional friday & saturday evening shifts.
We are a positive environment. We are focused on wine and art - not on being an entertainment spectacle winery.
Reports directly to owners Jason & Sandy. Will work at times directly alongside owners, other times with other staff, and at times alone.
Because our training time is more significant than most wineries, our expectation is for staff retention. We are not hiring for a single season. We balance our staffing for year round scheduling.
