We are looking for 2 very ambitious and energetic individuals to work some weekdays and split shifts on weekends and holidays.
The Tasting Room Associate job is a part-time position. The Associate will be responsible for creating a memorable wine and customer service experience while promoting sales of wine and non-wine items, enlisting new club members and educating customers on the history of the wines produced.
Be warm and hospitable, provide excellent customer service in all areas: welcoming and educating guests and presenting our wines and our story.
Confidently and knowledgeably speak about our wines, the varietals from which they are made, and the wine making methods used.
Promote the sale of wine and non-wine products sold in the Tasting Room and drive new memberships to the Wine Clubs.
Host specialty programs, lunches or dinners as assigned.
Promote and represent winery by pouring at off and on-premise special events.
Maintain, update and expand knowledge of the wines and the process by which they are made.
Learn to operate the POS systems and manage high volume wine and merchandise transactions with a high level of integrity.
Responsibly track wine & non-wine retail and supply inventory.
Stock supplies and maintain displays in retail areas.
Keep all areas of the Tasting Facility clean and organized at all times

Must be at least 21 years of age
Must Possess a current and valid driver license and acceptable driving record.
Ability to take direction and perform given tasks
Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to sell wine and non-wine merchandise
Available to work and be flexible in scheduling during the week, on weekends, at special events and on holidays.
Enthusiasm for wine and interest in expanding your expertise in wine production, history and types of wine produced
Driven and focused on customer service with great organizational and interpersonal skills
Friendly, positive and professional disposition when dealing with guests and fellow team members
Be a team player, working with other sales associates to reach monthly and daily sales goals
Self-motivated with attention to detail with an ability to multi-task, follow-up and work in a fast pace environment under pressure
Capable of working independently with minimal direct supervision
Capable of completing tasks given by management
Possess a high level of reliability, punctuality, and adherence to all safety regulations and operating procedures
Willing to adhere to Tasting Room dress code.

Must be able to frequently lift and carry weights of 50 pounds at varying frequencies
Be able to operate vacuum cleaners, dishwashers and work a cash drawer, etc.

Able to spend long periods of time standing
