We are seeking high quality sales and customer service professionals to join the Merryvale and Starmont tasting room teams. In addition to giving exceptional service as you present wines from the Merryvale Family of wines to couples, small groups, and occasionally larger groups, this role requires the quick mastery of the Wine Direct POS system, and other basic computer-related tasks.
Duties and Responsibilities
-Engages customers by demonstrating the highest degree of genuinely friendly service standards.
-Educates and schedules customers calling to make Visitor Center appointments for tasting experiences in accordance with daily tasting appointment availability and performs courtesy calls for future appointments.
-Occasionally works to support Merryvale events
-Displays mastery in signing up new Wine Club members
-Personally inputs his or her own new Wine Club signups accurately
-Responds to emails in a timely manner while providing excellent customer service .
-Collects and processes customer orders via telephone

-Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task numerous projects at one time
-Exemplary interpersonal communication skills
-Ability to educate guests about our wines in an engaging and relatable way
-Ability to work in a fast paced, high-energy sales environment
-Team player with enthusiastic outlook and creative mind
-Must be able to lift 40lbs repeatedly
-Must be able to sit at a desk for long periods and stand for long periods
