Very established wine barrel and oak alternative company seeks experienced sales person. This means face to face sales for three or more years to wineries.
The job involves major field work making direct sales calls on clients and prospecting for new business. Candidate must have significant sales experience within the wine industry, good oral and written skills, computer competence, and the capacity to generate sales in a highly competitive industry.
Major territories for sales visits could include Napa, Sonoma, Mendocino, Monterey, and the Central Coast. Ideally, the person would have excellent tasting skills and existing relationships with winemakers.
Candidate should live in the Bay Area in order to interface with our small office. Reliable economical vehicle for making winery visits is necessary.
Compensation is straight salary plus medical.
The job is now open and would begin immediately upon hiring. Training, advice, and office support will be provided.
