Rosenthal Wine Merchant has an opportunity for an exceptional individual to join our small group of highly efficient office staff. Below is an outline of the responsibilities that will make up the majority of this position.

The Candidate, based in San Francisco, will become the point person for Southern California orders. Note the Candidate will have to temporarily work from a home office setting until we establish an official RWM location in the city. We anticipate the search to be completed during the first quarter of the upcoming year.

The daily tasks include inputting sales orders into QuickBooks, communicating with our NYC-based administrative team, analyzing inventory levels, coordinating incoming shipments from NYC and working with our logistics provider to ensure accurate and timely deliveries. The Candidate will also be responsible for maintaining communication with our warehouse located in Benicia as well as periodic on-site visits.

Qualifications of the Candidate should include:
•  Bachelor’s degree
•  Polished and professional writing skills with particular attention to correct grammar and spelling
•  Minimum of two years professional experience in an office environment in the wine industry
•  Familiar with QuickBooks and MS Office (Word/Excel)
•  Eagerness to invest the energy required to ensure all projects are completed at the highest level

Language skills in French and/or Italian are a plus.
