COMPANY OVERVIEW
WineGlass Marketing, is a full-service Direct Marketing agency located in Napa, CA is looking to add someone to our team of 16 to drive our winery clients' DTC businesses. This position is a senior position at a growing and evolving company, and as such will be vetted carefully. This person would report directly to the owner but be closely tied-in with a deeply cooperative team. (Meaning, we have few "boxes" here and everyone communicates and pitches in on projects and roles are fluid.)

This is a full-time, non-exempt position in Napa, CA. It may require traveling to clients or conferences from time to time. Compensation is based on experience, but the range is $58,000-$78,000 and also includes paid holidays, vacations, healthcare, 401k and HSA and is eligible for overtime.

We are a very high-performing, tightly knit team with a highly creative and dynamic agency culture. The best fit for us will be someone who has the ability to problem-solve as an individual as well as part of a team in a rapidly changing environment. And, you absolutely must be comfortable with frequent dog drool and snoring, occasional swearing, and random bursts of 80's music.

JOB DESCRIPTION
You will be managing your own list of clients to execute their campaigns and achieve their goals. By working with our internal team of designers, analysts and a photographer you will conceive, pitch, execute and measure multiple DTC programs for various clients simultaneously. This may include:
- Develop and execute marketing programs and lead business analysis and project management
- Database segmentation, health, and hygiene
- Database growth opportunities and measurement
- Tactical email campaign management, including managing calendars, acquiring assets or information, writing copy and proofreading
- Social media campaign conception, development, and tracking – including advertising and using custom audiences and sequential targeting
- Website architecture and design strategy
- Customer service via fulfillment and wine club programs
- Remain informed of industry trends as well as new digital strategies, resources, opportunities and techniques

QUALIFICATIONS
- You have at least 5-7 years in DTC program management - meaning you've run clubs, set up email calendars, tested and set up social media advertising on all the major platforms, directed website changes and know how to read and interpret next steps from a dashboard
- High-quality written and verbal communication skills are required, as well as excellent computer skills with Word and Excel
- You are polished and comfortable in a business environment
- You are able to work independently and efficiently on multiple projects at once (sometimes 15-20 at a time) and possess the ability to meet production deadlines inside of a time-sensitive environment
- You must be able to work with a team in execution, support, brainstorming, and having each other's back (we all succeed or fail together)
- A self-starter: You have the tendency to think through programs and ramifications without requiring guidance
- A positive attitude: You think anything is possible with some luck and hard work
- An available, trusted confidant: You have a natural skill to explain issues to clients, calm frustrations and assure nervousness; you can also assess what their concerns and needs are and change your tone or tactics accordingly
- A continual salesperson: You are on the lookout for new opportunities for growth for yourself, the client, and the company; you are not satisfied with the status quo
- Proven desire and ability to think creatively, coupled with strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- You are flexible: You are ok with a non-traditional, busy environment with a thin structure, where your job description, clients, and projects are constantly changing

- Basic knowledge/understanding of wine

Skills that will set you apart
- Extensive experience with WineDirect (formerly Vin65) and other DTC platforms in terms of emails, set up of promos and products and wine club management
- Basic ability with Photoshop or HTML
- Knowledge of the fulfillment houses and DTC players in the business
- You have proven campaigns and ideas you can point to as examples
- You can start in the next month and live in Napa/Sonoma
- You have supervised a team before
- You have your own drool-bucket dog or an encyclopedic knowledge of 80’s bands
