Gabriella Wines is an established wine importer/distributor based in NYC that specializes in fine wines. We are looking for enthusiastic salespeople to join the team and take part in growing key territories. The Sales Representative will sell Gabriella Wines' products to established accounts or develop new prospects within assigned territory. This role is responsible for maintaining sustainable records of sales achievements/quotas. Requires knowledge of Gabriella Wines' range of products and as well as organization's philosophy and policies. This is an exciting time to join a young, growing company on the ground level!
This role will be based out of San Francisco, CA -specifically in South and East Bay.
Develop and maintain an organized list of key accounts in the territory (both on- and off-premise accounts)
Sell our brand to retailers in coordination with local distributors and brokers
Call on key accounts on an ongoing basis to review our brand program priorities
Regularly attend selected on-premise promotional events
Direct accounts in proper and effective merchandising and consumer awareness of brands by:
Guiding proper shelf management positions
Conduct Product Sampling/Demonstrations
Educate store personnel and consumers
High level of professionalism and experience working with well-organized sales oriented companies
Must be highly organized, have attention to detail and good time management ability
An entrepreneurial drive and proven 1-3 years of field sales experience including heavily sourcing for new leads and face to face selling (experience selling food/beverage to the hospitality industry is a plus)
Must have business acumen and keen negotiating skills
Considered a "closer" and can provide evidence to support direct sales achievements
