Job Description:

Established in 1981, Adelaida Vineyards and Winery is one of the first ten wineries forged within the rolling hills of the Paso Robles wine region. Our winery continues to grow year to year as our wine advances in quality and notability, with a brand new state of the art tasting room and event center. Adelaida takes immense pride in our high-end hospitality as we persistently aspire to uphold our prestige in the wine industry. As our winery grows, our staff quantity echoes the motion. With the inflation of consumer traffic, and requests for reservations, we find ourselves in a position to expand our hospitality team with an additional representative.

Have the opportunity to work in a fun, fast paced environment, all while educating those on what we love most; wine. Must have a flexible schedule with ability to work weekends. Looking for someone to work a mixture of days, Part-time potential for full time, 2-4 days per week. Ability to lift 40+ lbs.

Position: Hospitality Representative

Duties of the Position:
•  Welcoming and greeting customers in a fashionable timeframe
•  Maintaining a positive and hospitable attitude
•  Checking-in reservations
•  Creating a memorable tasting experience
•  Ability to lead our classic tastings and all elevated experiences offered at Adelaida
•  Ability to handle large groups and multiple parties
•  Creating rapport with customers
•  Packing and ringing up orders
•  Working with Cellar Pass and VIN65 systems
•  Adheres to all Adelaida policies and regulations including dress code and professionalism in the work place

Mandatory Requirements of Position:
•  Ability to work weekends
•  Can stand for long periods of time
•  Capability to lift 40+ pounds
•  Works well with others
•  Over 21 years of age

Desired Skills of Employee:
•  Personable and professional
•  Strength in composing a natural dialogue with customers
•  Proficiency in preforming numerous tasks at once
•  Strong organizational skills
•  Keeps a level head when overwhelmed
•  Previous knowledge of Cellar Pass and VIN65 is not mandatory but a plus
•  High School Diploma or equivalent
•  Enthusiastic to learn about the wine industry

COMPENSATION:
Based on experience; commissions on data collection and wine club sign-ups
