Founded in Oakville, California in 1885 and restored in 1979, Far Niente is consistently recognized as a benchmark producer of Napa Valley Chardonnay and Oakville Estate Cabernet Sauvignon. A dedication to winemaking in its highest form, paired with a focus on house style, vineyard ownership, social responsibility and legendary hospitality, has established Far Niente as one of the world's great wine estates.

Over the years, four exceptional wineries have been proudly added to the Far Niente Family of Wineries and Vineyards: Established in 1989, Dolce is the only American winery dedicated to producing a single late harvest wine. Our second Oakville winery, Nickel & Nickel, focuses on 100-percent varietal, single-vineyard wines from some of Napa Valley’s finest vineyard appellations. In 2007, we launched EnRoute, which is committed to crafting focused, textured Pinot Noir from the Russian River Valley. Bella Union is our youngest winery and specializes in creating a single Cabernet Sauvignon from carefully selected Napa Valley vineyards.

Our Sales Analyst is responsible for the day-to-day tasks of operational sales analytical support for our wholesale and direct-to-consumer sales divisions.
The ideal candidate will have or be the following:

Data Operations
o Maintain Targit operations, VIP, and data warehouse
o Manage Wine Deals, Tradeparency and depletion allowance data
o Maintain, identify inaccuracies, develop and update daily dashboards for all sales divisions as requested
Sales Reporting
o Develop and maintain sales reporting, forecasting, and trend analysis as appropriate using Targit and Navision for regular monthly reporting (Monthly Operating Report)
o Proactively analyze regional and national sales trends and be able to make recommendations
o Prepare business reviews and updates for Sales Managers as needed
Allocations and Inventories
o Forecast sales, ending inventories, and be able to make recommendations based upon findings when requested
o Monitor warehouse inventories and manage wine distributions through a wine allocation program working in collaboration with Accounting
Other Projects
o Collaborate with National Sales Manager to create annual Forum presentations
o Support budgeting and longer-term planning processes by providing revenue inputs, including drivers and assumptions for various channels and products
o Perform ad hoc analysis of daily business issues and provide sales support for the company
In general
o Balances workload to respond to new reporting and data requests
o Maintains collaborative relationships with functional management teams, managing relationships with and expectations of managers and colleagues


•  BS/BA in finance, marketing or related field desired
•  Minimum of three years of increasingly responsible experience in sales operations, sales finance, and marketing analysis
•  Proficiency in Targit is a strong preference. Familiarity with Adaptive, NAV and Jet Reporting are highly desirable
•  Advanced computer skills especially in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
•  Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly
