St. Francis Winery & Vineyards is looking for a part-time Tasting Room Host / Concierge to work in our award-winning Tasting Room 3-4 days a week, generally Fridays through Mondays, approximately 7 hours a day.
We are seeking enthusiastic individuals who understand the importance of providing exceptional customer service. Responsibilities include:
Working at the hosting stand and greeting guests as they arrive.
Engaging and educating guests about our winery, wines and winemaking techniques.
Pouring wines and providing memorable experiences for our guests, while promoting and selling our wines, wine club memberships and merchandise.
Reviewing available guest programs such as Wine & Food Pairing options and wine tastings.
Special projects and additional responsibilities as required.
Qualified candidates must have previous hospitality, wine sales, food service or related experience. Must be passionate and knowledgeable about wine, have excellent customer service, teamwork and communication skills (verbal and written), enjoy talking in front of small groups of people and be able to enthusiastically and effectively promote and sell our guest programs, wines and wine club memberships. Candidates must be at least 21, able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. and stand/walk for extended periods of time. Must be reliable, punctual, flexible and able to work weekends, holidays and evenings. Overtime may occasionally be required.
