Vintage Wine Estates is a collection of vintner family-owned winery estates and brands based in Santa Rosa, California. We are an industry leader across all sales channels and dedicated to providing wine consumers with a range of wine selections from $10 to $100 dollars. Vintage Wine Estates is a dynamic, growing organization seeking a Sales & Hospitality professional to join our team. Customer service is central in our culture, with focus on both our external and our internal customers. Sonoma Coast Vineyards is a small, premium and successful tasting room located in the heart of the Bodega Bay. We are seeking friendly, out-going and high-energy team members that enjoy being rewarded handsomely for their stellar customer service and superior (and proven) sales skills. Wine knowledge is preferable but not required. Professionals with bartending and/or restaurant experience are encouraged to respond. Must be at least 21 years of age and willing to work weekends and evenings.


•  Greet all visitors and pour wines for tasting
•  Create a memorable experience for guests
•  Sell wine and wine club memberships based on monthly goal
•  Describe wines and winery history; answer visitors’ questions about wines
•  Provide general tourist information
•  Handle routine sales transactions that include operating the register and accounting of daily sales
•  Assist with display and stocking of retail items and wines
•  Assist in maintaining cleanliness of facilities
•  Assist with special events as needed
•  Represent winery at outside functions as needed
•  Acquire and maintain thorough knowledge of winery and its wines
•  Understand and properly process winery specific order requests
•  Prepare food for wine pairings
•  Perform other duties as assigned by Manager


•  Excellent verbal communication skills
•  Excellent presentation skills
•  Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
•  Ability to manage priorities and workflow
•  Proficient on the computer (familiar with POS systems, Microsoft Office)
•  Excellent customer service skills
•  Demonstrated ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts and percentages
•  Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions


•  Wine related experience helpful and knowledge of wines and wine production
•  TIPS and CA Food Handler Certifications preferred, but not required
•  Professional appearance and demeanor
•  Commitment to excellence and high standards
•  Evidence of superior sales performance preferred

•  Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods as required by job duties
•  Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs on a regular basis
•  Coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously
