Job Description:

Great opportunity for a high energy go-getter interested in working with a small, dynamic team to grow a boutique winery.

Sales Component:
Open and Close Estate and Dundee Tasting Rooms. You will work at both properties on separate days.
Maintain stock levels for all tasting room merchandise and wine.
Manage daily wine inventory- including transferring, shipping and receiving.
Greet and educate visitors regarding our wines, history and culture.
Assist with month end inventory process.
Promote and sell wine by assisting and educating customers while demonstrating tasteful and creative sales techniques.
Occasionally represent the brand in the market for offsite wine tastings,festivals and winemaker dinners.
Maintain accurate pricing in POS and monitor structure, content and pricing of tasting menu.
Undertake various hospitality duties such as VIP hosting, assisting with club and private events, and conducting private tasting programs,
including facilitating tour and tastings from booking, planning, execution and closing the sale.
Troubleshoot POS or other systems as needed, while working with the remote IT department.
Ensures a high degree of cleanliness and organization while maintaining a welcoming environment.
Carry out all responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies as well as applicable laws.

Marketing Component:
Generate winery collateral for 2 properties, Estate and Dundee Tasting Rooms.
Increase brand awareness and sales by implementing creative marketing programming. Develop content, scheduling and delivery of outreach and mailings, including email blasts and promotional collateral. Identify and pursue opportunities to heighten brand awareness.
Managing all social media platforms - creating meaningful content and regularly updating brand presence on all platforms. Identifying new social platforms to engage in to drive more brand awareness, targeting specific markets and demographics, Regular tracking and reporting of Social Media metrics to GM, including as campaigns, and social media sites i.e. Facebook, Instagram, Twitter.
Manage marketing campaigns - via email and phone. Create content for regular email offers. Work with GM to generate marketing campaign calendar, reporting metrics to GM.
Proficient in Google AdWords, WordPress, CRM systems
Comfortable with editing, developing, and producing brand content as needed, including website refreshes, mailers and emails. Make recommendations to GM for best practices for maximizing consumer traffic to website for increased web sales.
Work with GM to develop new concepts to maximize customer engagement with brand - i.e. club events
Responsible for working with winemaker and GM to submit marketing samples and appropriate collateral to all reviewing entities.
Responsible for working with GM and owners to create yearly events calendar and submitting events to all online calendars
Point of contact for all marketing channels - print, online, media. Work with GM to develop budget and marketing strategy for calendar year.
Direct, edit and coordinate creative content for all direct to consumer collateral and email campaigns in partnership with the general manager.
Proficient in HTML and basic HTML editing software for email marketing and website updating. Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint. Canva a plus.

Professional Qualifications

2+ years of high-volume, luxury retail, restaurant or hospitality environment.
Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
Project management skills and multi-tasking ability.
Proficiency in WineWare or vinSUITE winery software, Word, and Excel.
