Prestigious French Wine Company, highly successful in the USA, is recruiting its VP of Sales.
The VP of Sales will develop, grow and manage sales operations for all routes to market in order to meet or exceed short- and long-term objectives (sales, profit, and growth).
Manage, train, motivate and support the US sales team, creating a culture of success and goal achievement
Enhance sales performance of the team
Manage key account relationships in the regional territories
Manage distributor relationships to drive performance along the lines of planned budgets and company vision
Drive all aspects of commercial planning and execution with customers
Manage customer expectations and contribute to a high level of customer satisfaction
Monitor sales forecast to ensure efficient supply
Monitor and control gross and net margins to ensure profitability
Monitor customer, market and competitor activity and provide efficient feedback
Manage global promotional budgets within territory to achieve goals set by Company
Report to the US General Manager
Education and Experience
Master in Business Administration or equivalent.
You have an extensive knowledge of the US wine industry, with a minimum of 10 years’ experience in the trade and a proven track record in sales and team management.
A true leader, you have excellent abilities in managing a sales team, fostering a culture of accountability, professional development, high-performance, and ethical behavior.
You have strong work ethics, excellent communication skills and great organizational and planning abilities.
This position requires extensive travel.
