SUMMARY: The position is responsible for the administration of Human Resources benefits programs, including online entry of enrollment forms, scheduling and facilitating new hire benefit meetings and staying abreast of all ACA rules and regulations. This role will also maintain employee files, scheduling of phone screens, orientations, and Director of HR’s calendar and expense reports. This position, at all times, maintains a high level of customer service through professionalism, courteousness, and responsiveness while ensuring confidentiality.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Under general supervision, performs a wide variety of HR Coordinator activities in employment, benefits, recruitment, training, payroll and related areas. Prepares and maintains employee human resources files, records, and information. Processes departmental forms, records and documents. Assists in the recruitment function including scheduling interviews, phone screens, reference checks and background checks on candidates. Maintains requisition logs. May conducts employee orientations. Translation duties will include policies, procedures, job descriptions, etc.

EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING: One to two years of general Human Resources courses or equivalent experience. Requires a general understanding of human resources administration and business operations. Excludes those with full supervisory responsibilities. Bilingual in English and Spanish required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under General Supervision, perform a wide variety of HR Administration~

General Human Resources

In a timely manner, address all HR inquiries.
Conduct orientation and benefits meetings.
Order and maintain business cards.
Assist in all open enrollment processes with brokers
Attend all open enrollment meetings (Spanish)
Process and track all benefit forms
Reconciliation of all monthly benefit bills
Track Manager training.
Maintain personnel files
Assist in all employee event planning with HR team
Maintain birthday and anniversary lists, rewards and recognitions
Support in bilingual employee relations, investigations and other meetings.
In conjunction with HR Director, maintain organizational charts.
In conjunction with HR Team, conduct manager trainings.


QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in Human Resources
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Detailed-oriented
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Must maintain absolute confidentiality
Bilingual – English and Spanish required
