We currently seek a qualified Vice President of Finance to direct the Treasury and Finance functions and systems in an effective and efficient manner and with adequate internal controls.
Job Summary: Direct the Treasury and Finance functions and systems in an effective and efficient manner and with adequate internal controls. Ensure funding is adequate to support operations. Ensure that the Company’s financial information is timely, accurate and complete. Responsible for communications with Lenders. Responsible for cash flow management, projections and forecasting. Manage and direct the Risk/Insurance program. Manage and direct the financing programs of the Company.
Education/Experience: BA/BS degree in Accounting or Business with Finance & Accounting emphasis required.
Minimum ten years’ progressive experience in accounting, including supervision, coaching and counseling.
College-level business management and leadership courses.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Strong demonstrated leadership and team process skills; Excellent analytical and problem solving skills;
Organization skills; with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and delegate tasks as appropriate.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to work successfully in partnership with financial and operations staff at all levels throughout the Company.
Project management expertise, including the coordination and monitoring of projects in process. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
Advanced personal computer spreadsheet and word processing skills (Excel, Word).
Accounting theory and understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP); Ability to read and understand external financial reporting requirements, such as bank reporting requirements.
Other: Experience in the wine industry, manufacturing and/or agricultural environment; Public accounting experience.
Experience with enterprise computer systems such as Adaptive Insights, JD Edwards and Great Plains.
