Marketing Coordinator - Kendall-Jackson Winery

Job Description:

Be a part of the wine industry’s most ground-breaking marketing team at the best wine company in the world. The Marketing Coordinator/Assistant serves as a junior member of the marketing team, leading projects and key processes, managing budgets, and executing parts of the marketing plan. This role works cross functionally across the organization to ensure that the fundamental aspects of the marketing plan are executed flawlessly

The following are examples of responsibilities that the assistant can expect to have:

Project and Process Management: as determined by brand plans, partner with brand leadership to develop project timelines and traffic execution, coordinated with relevant departments, agencies and vendors
Compile data from various systems; i.e. Business Objects, IRI, and consolidate information for senior leaders
Track monthly marketing budgets with core responsibilities of invoice coding, auditing, routing and balancing
Generate, manage and fulfill POS with internal and external vendors
Track and report on wine inventory levels
Coordinate and execute events as needed, such as set-up, wine pouring, etc.
Develop and manage travel itineraries for winemakers and managers
Pull and ship wine samples
Coordinate packaging update process with all relevant departments

Skills Required

Bachelor’s Degree in any major (Marketing and/or Business preferred)
2-4 years of relevant work experience (internship included) in a marketing related position
Organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
Strong PC skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Demonstrated ability to effectively build team relationships
Ability to manage multiple projects with executional excellence
Comfort level in dealing and manipulating data
Strong communication skills with an emphasis on writing and editing
Passion to learn about the wine business
