Job Description:

Events Coordinator
Dobbes Family Winery, Dundee, Oregon
Salary: $25-$27 + event revenue incentive structure
Full-Time, On-site
Founded in 2002, Dobbes Family Winery/Wine by Joe embodies almost three decades of winemaking. Our dynamic people and partners take pride in every aspect of our business and output. We stand proud and innovative, inclusive and intentional, at every turn. Our passion fuels us and we exude it in everything we do.

PRIMARY PURPOSE:
The Events Coordinator reports to the DTC Manager and owns all things events at Dobbes Family Winery. This person is a forward-facing, people-first brand ambassador who takes pride in creating unforgettable experiences for our wine club members, tasting room guests, private clients, and corporate partners. This role owns the logistics, and execution of guest experiences at every Dobbes event.

This is not a behind-the-desk role. This is a role for someone who loves people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and brings creativity, hustle, and genuine warmth to everything they do.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
•  Serve as the primary point of contact and on-the-ground lead for all DTC events, including but not limited to Club Exclusive Weekends, Gold and Platinum member events, community events, educational experiences, offsite pop-ups, and special releases.
•  Manage ticketing, RSVP’s, event staff, vendors and assist with promotional material
•  Monitor event budgets, track revenue against goals, and provide post-event recap reports to the DTC Manager
•  Maintain and organize all event materials, supplies, and inventory
•  Ensure all events comply with OLCC regulations, local licensing requirements, and health and safety standards
•  Represent Dobbes at community and industry events to build relationships and generate new event business
•  Proactively identify and pursue opportunities to grow corporate and private event bookings at Dobbes, including buyouts, micro weddings, corporate tastings, team building experiences, and client gifting programs
•  Cross-train in tasting room operations to provide flexible support during high-volume periods, special events, or staffing gaps

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
•  You are a genuine people person. You light up a room and our members and guests feel it immediately
•  You are calm under pressure. Events are unpredictable and you persevere through chaos
•  You are a self-starter who does not wait to be told what to do. You see what needs to happen and you make it happen
•  You are highly organized and detail-oriented. Checklists, timelines, and the details that make events run smoothly are where you thrive
•  You are creative and bring fresh ideas to the table that make our events more fun, more memorable, and more profitable
•  You are sales-minded. You understand that events are not just experiences, they are opportunities to sell wine, grow our club, and build lasting relationships
•  You are a team player who lifts others up and genuinely loves collaborating
•  You are comfortable being both the planner behind the scenes AND the face of the event on the day

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

•  Must be at least 21 years of age with a valid driver's license
•  Minimum two years of related experience in event coordination, hospitality, the wine industry, or sales positions requiring a demonstrated ability to meet revenue goals.
•  Passion for excellence in customer service and guest experience
•  Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills
•  Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with minimal direction in a fast-paced environment
•  Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage a variety of audiences
•  Working knowledge of Commerce7 and Tock strongly preferred
•  Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook required
•  Marketing skills including social media content capture, email campaigns, and basic design for event collateral are a strong plus
•  Intermediate working knowledge of wine
•  Ability to work a flexible schedule including Tuesday through Saturday, evenings, and weekends as required by the events calendar
•  Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, carrying, and setting up event materials; comfortable working both indoors and outdoors
•  Oregon Liquor Control Commission license required
•  Oregon Food Handler's permit required

BENEFITS INCLUDE:
•  3 Weeks PTO (plus Christmas thru New Year) and 7 paid holidays
•  401k

•  Wine Allocation
