Position Summary: The Sales Analyst will review data provided by sales representatives, analyzing, and revising the data to deliver accurate projections about market and business conditions, anticipated production levels, and other factors. The Sales Analyst must work cross-functionally with other departments including Sales, Marketing, Administration, and Production.
Essential Functions:
- Develops systems, processes, and reporting with a financial sales and revenue focus to maintain accountability, track progress against KPIs, provide clear analytics for decision making, and provide a consistent information flow on sales expectations.
- Produce a sales margin review at the execute level sharing profitability trends by brand, label, and sales channel.
- Generate a regional sales margin review based on profitability trends by brand, label, region, and distributor.
- Partner with inventory teams to maintain an inventory reduction tracker, demand analysis, and import order review for inventory and cash flow management.
- Build annual and up to date estimate models on cases, revenue, spend, and margin across each distributor and label, uploading data into AMS and Driver for tracking.
- Serve as sales business intelligence reporting liaison researching, resolving data issues at a distributor level.
- Work in Diver data warehouse to maintain information, build reports though Pro Diver, and complete web-based sales management reporting.
- Create sales journals, daily order reports, monthly sales calls KPI-metric slides, and flat rate monthly calculations for accrual estimates.
- Ensure key account level goals established annually are tracked monthly.
- Maintain the lasted National FOBs on all available warehouse items as well as the latest approved prices support by distribution level.
- Support reporting for key internal customers including, but not limited to owner, National Sales Manager, Marketing, and other sales members.
- Ability to develop a cross-functional understanding of data needs and availability based on the history of systems and processes in place.
Necessary Skills:
Language: A basic English comprehension and speech requirement exists for all accounts payable. Ability to read and interpret documents such as memos, instructions, policies, and manuals. write routine reports and correspondence, present information effectively to groups of customers and/or employees and participate in one-on-one and small group situations.
Math: Use standard American units of currency, weight, volume, and/or distance to accurately add, subtract, multiply, and divide, recognize and correct inaccuracies when using the calculator or computer spreadsheet.
Logic: Apply common sense understanding to a variety of tasks and duties, adapting minor changes in routine to solve problems, and work with moderate supervision.
Computer: Intermediate computer skills and familiarity with software programs such as word processing and spreadsheets.
Education, Experience, Certificates, Licenses:
Bachelor’s Degree in a business related area of study required.
Current, valid Driver’s License, insurable driving record, and proof of current automobile insurance required.
