Seasonal Music Event Associate
Employment Period: September 1–November 1
Schedule: Friday and/or Saturday evenings, approximately 4–5 hours per shift
Associates may choose to work every Friday and Saturday, select weekends based on their availability, or something in between. We ask that team members be available for at least four shifts per month. Additional shifts may be available for those interested in working more frequently.

Located at our 200-acre Blue Mountain Estate Vineyard, Tranche produces ultra-premium wines and offers welcoming hospitality experiences surrounded by vineyard views. Our popular music evenings bring together wine, live entertainment, and community in a lively outdoor setting.
Position Summary
The Seasonal Music Event Associate helps create a welcoming, organized, and safe experience during Tranche’s Friday and Saturday music events. This position combines guest service, wine sales, event upkeep, and responsible alcohol service.
The ideal candidate is friendly, dependable, energetic, and comfortable working in a busy outdoor hospitality environment. Prior wine knowledge is helpful but not required. We are happy to provide training.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Welcome guests with friendly, upbeat energy and explain the event format.
• Process wine sales and other transactions accurately through the POS system.
• Recommend bottles, promote upcoming events, and introduce guests to Tranche wine club opportunities.
• Control glass pours and record samples or other wine usage for inventory purposes.
• Polish stemware and collect, wash, and restock used glasses.
• Regularly clear and bus tables, empty dump buckets, and maintain clean guest areas.
• Assist with music setup and breakdown as assigned.
• Support other team members as needed to provide an efficient and enjoyable guest experience.
Qualifications and Requirements
• Applicants under 21 may be considered; candidates who are at least 21 are preferred.
• Must obtain a MAST permit after hire if not already certified
• Friendly, professional, and comfortable interacting with guests.
• Dependable and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Able to remain calm and positive in a busy, fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable learning how to recommend and sell wine.
• Prior hospitality, restaurant, retail, event, or wine experience is preferred but not required.
• Prior wine knowledge is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Able to work outdoors during evening events in varying weather conditions.
