Role Overview
We are seeking a sincere and passionate salesperson to take over existing accounts from Hartford to New Haven and along the Eastern Shoreline.
This is a career position for people who are serious about wine and about themselves.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage a portfolio of on-premise and off-premise accounts
Prospect and open new accounts in assigned territory
Present and sell wines to buyers, sommeliers, and decision-makers
Execute tastings, staff training, and in-store promotions
Maintain CRM/activity tracking and provide regular market feedback
Support brand building initiatives and supplier visits
Qualifications
2+ years of wine sales experience in Connecticut preferred
Strong knowledge of wine (French/European focus a plus)
Existing relationships in Hartford/New Haven/Shoreline markets (restaurants, retail) highly valued
Understanding of CT compliance and pricing environment
Self-motivated, organized, and goal-oriented
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and manage territory efficiently
Compensation
Competitive base salary + commission structure
