Job Title: Vineyard Stays & Experience Assistant (Vineyard Stays & Tasting Host)
Reports To: Vineyard Stays & Experience Manager
Location: ONX Estate Vineyard – 1200 Paseo Excelsus, Templeton, CA
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Job Status: Part-Time with rotating Saturdays off
Salary Range: $24.00 - $26.00/hour, DOE, + tips/commissions

Schedule A: Sunday–Wednesday, 10:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m.
Schedule B: Thursday–Sunday, 9:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m.

Position Summary

The Vineyard Stays & Experience Assistant is a hospitality-focused role supporting both ONX Vineyard Stays (short term rentals) and Estate Vineyard Experiences (vineyard tours and tastings). This position is responsible for delivering exceptional guest service while assisting with property operations, vineyard tours, wine tastings, and concierge-style guest support.

The ideal candidate is personable, organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in both guest-facing and operational environments.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Vineyard Stays Operations (Approx. 50%)-
Coordinate day-to-day operations of ONX Vineyard Stays properties
Prepare residences and guest spaces to company standards
Manage reservations, guest communications, confirmations, and payments
Personalize guest experiences through special requests, celebrations, and VIP accommodations
Support property readiness, staging, and general presentation

Vineyard Experiences & Hospitality (Approx. 50%)-
Conduct vineyard tours and wine tastings
Share information about ONX wines, vineyard practices, and brand story
Host VIP guests, private groups, and special experiences
Promote wine sales, memberships, and hospitality offerings
Assist with seasonal experiences, events, and guest activities
Maintain service standards and tour procedures

Guest Experience & Concierge Services-
Provide professional guest service before, during, and after visits
Assist guests with personalized itineraries, dining recommendations, and local activities
Handle guest communications via phone, email, and in person
Build positive relationships that encourage guest loyalty and repeat visits

Estate Operations & Team Support-
Help maintain guest-facing areas of the estate
Assist with light landscaping, outdoor setup, and property appearance
Support basic animal care and farm-related tasks as assigned
Refuel, clean, and monitor estate utility vehicles
Assist with opening and closing procedures
Support inventory management, marketing initiatives, and guest follow-up
Follow all safety policies and represent ONX professionally at all times

Qualifications - Required Skills & Experience:
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
Strong verbal communication and presentation abilities
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Ability to multitask and work independently
Proficiency with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and reservation systems
Knowledge of, or willingness to learn:
Wine and tasting techniques
Vineyard and farming practices
ONX Wines and brand philosophy
Paso Robles wineries, restaurants, and local attractions

Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
Availability to work weekends, holidays, and occasional extended hours as needed
