Since 2002 our small, 4,000-case winery in Paso Robles' Tin City has been working hard to push boundaries and craft creative, authentic wines that tell stories and showcase the very best of our homeland of the Central Coast. We are in the heart of Tin City here in Paso Robles, and our team works together to put out some of the best wines our area can produce, making nervy whites and Pinot Noir from the San Luis Obispo Coast, as well as a range of powerful reds from the best vineyards on the Westside of Paso Robles.
We are looking for a part-time employee to join our fun and hardworking team in the Tasting Room. This is a dynamic role, and while primarily focused on customer service, also involves a range of other tasks as would be expected in a small winery team. This role is ideal for someone who loves hospitality but is also excited to contribute to brand visibility, customer engagement, storytelling, and the behind-the-scenes operations that help a small winery thrive. We dish out good vibes and great wines 7 days a week in our tasting room.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS:

o Show up each day stoked and ready to pour wine and interact with customers in a positive way.
o Develop an in-depth knowledge and passion for our winemaking, story, vision, and brand.
o Know how to be professional, detail-oriented, and serious about the wines we make, whilst still being awesome.
o Present and pour wines with genuine enthusiasm, creating memorable experiences for our customers.
o Know how to work independently, have a good head on your shoulders, and make good decisions.
o Build connections with our customers through tastings, phone, and our company’s text services.
o Work with the team on tasting room metrics with a focus on meeting sales goals.
o Develop intimate knowledge of POS (Commerce7) and reservation software (Tock).
o Additional back of house tasks such as order fulfillment, tasting room maintenance and upkeep, stock and inventory management.
o Contribute to on-site and off-site events as needed.
o Social media experience is a bonus. We love team members who enjoy helping tell our story by assisting in content creation.
o Creative thinkers who enjoy contributing ideas for customer experiences, marketing initiatives, and brand storytelling are encouraged to apply.
o As a small winery that thrives on creativity, candidates can expect to be contribute to a wide range of activities, and there is opportunity for growth and involvement in more areas of sales & marketing.
o Applicant’s availability is 3-4 days a week, including weekends. Potential for full-time work in the near future.
o Must be able to lift 40lbs.

COMPENSATION: Starts at a competitive hourly wage + sales commissions.
