Day Wines produces a wide variety of wine styles sourced from some of Oregon s most celebrated AVAs. We strive to offer a creative, positive, and welcoming work environment, while working hard to produce the most exciting and complex wines possible. We also strive to create a welcoming, fun and dynamic tasting experience for guests. We are seeking a warm, hospitable and passionate Tasting Room Associate to join our team.



Responsibilities:

-Open and close tasting room while following guidelines and procedures

-Maintain cleanliness in the tasting room & kitchen throughout the day (glass washing/polishing, cleaning/restocking bathrooms, etc.)

-Provide wine tastings while sharing knowledge on our wines/brand/wine club

-Handle purchase transactions and use our point-of-sale system effectively (Wine Direct)

-Assist in special events such as wine club pick-up parties and occasional offsite events

-Maintain a professional appearance and social demeanor



Qualifications:

- 21 years of age or over

-Able to lift 45+ pounds (a case of wine)

-Able to stand and/or walk for extended period of time

-A genuine enthusiasm for customer service

-An interest in & passion for wine, and comprehension of the Willamette Valley (preferable but not required)

-Must be able to multitask and work alone

-Valid food handlers card and OLCC servers license required



Job Details:

-Part/full time (Four days weekly), must be available weekends (25-32 hours a week)

-Competitive pay which includes; hourly rate, shared tip pool (averaging $10-25 an hour in tips), wine club sign-up bonuses, employee discount on wine
