Reininger Winery is seeking a warm, polished, and proactive Tasting Room Associate to join our team. Our tasting room is the heartbeat of our Direct-to-Consumer business, and our goal is simple: WOW the guest, exceed expectations, and sell damn good wine.

We are looking for someone who is genuinely interested in wine, confident and experienced in hospitality and sales, and motivated to build lasting guest relationships.

Responsibilities:
-Lead engaging, educational tasting experiences while confidently selling wines and promoting Wine Club membership
-Accurately and confidently operate Commerce7 POS system and process transactions
-Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization, including light food preparation and daily opening/closing procedures
-Support direct-to-consumer operations, including packing and preparing wine shipments
-Perform additional duties as assigned to support tasting room operations and business needs

Qualifications:
-Strong communication skills with confident, approachable sales ability
-Positive attitude, reliability, punctuality, and attention to detail
-Self-starter who anticipates needs and takes initiative
-Weekend availability required (including holiday weekends and occasional evenings)
-Must be 21+, hold a valid driver’s license, have reliable transportation, and a clean driving record
-Ability to stand for up to 8 hours and regularly lift/carry up to 50 lbs
-Washington MAST and Food Worker permits (or ability to obtain)
-Comfortable using POS and reservation systems

-Wine and product knowledge, and ability to communicate effectively
-Ability to anticipate guest needs and provide exceptional service
-Productivity, initiative, and ability to follow through on delegated responsibilities

Compensation:
$18–$20 per hour DOE, plus tips, commission on select bottle sales, and Wine Club sign-up bonuses.
