Located in the heart of the Edna Valley, Edna is a new joint tasting room comprising four local, family-owned wineries: Stephen Ross Wine Cellars, Dunites, Greengate Wines, and Vestre. At Edna, the Tasting Room Associate is responsible for the presentation and sales of wine, representing four distinct wineries under one roof. This position emphasizes best-in-region hospitality, ensuring guests experience thoughtful, elevated service while learning the story, style, and craftsmanship behind each winery. Reporting directly to the Tasting Room Manager, the Tasting Room Associate will offer a cohesive and welcoming tasting experience that reflects the values of a family-owned luxury destination. This role requires an enthusiastic, hospitality-driven individual who is passionate about wine education, exceptional guest service, and wine sales.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver Exceptional Hospitality
• Host guest tastings aligned with Edna's hospitality standards
• Create welcoming experiences that reflect an elevated approach to service
• Guide guests through wine selections with clarity and authenticity
• Share knowledge of winemaking and philosophy across four brands in an engaging and approachable way
• Maintain tasting spaces and guest areas with careful attention to detail
• Support additional daily hospitality operations as needed
Build Relationships
• Develop genuine connections with guests with an emphasis on brand identity
• Conduct thoughtful and engaging wine tastings tailored to individual guest interests
• Highlight wine club benefits and encourage return visits and consumer loyalty
• Collaborate with the team to create opportunities for meaningful guest interaction
Support Operations
• Assist with daily opening and closing of tasting room and all associated duties
• Support order processing, inventory, and guest record management
• Help maintain a seamless flow of the guest experience throughout the day
• Contribute to a collaborative team environment focused on continuous refinement
Qualifications:
• Hospitality or tasting room experience, preferably in a winery or luxury hospitality setting
• Strong wine knowledge; additional wine education or certifications preferred
• Proficiency with POS systems preferred
• Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Warm, professional communication style with an emphasis on guest experience
• Comfortable working weekends, holidays, and special events as needed
Compensation & Benefits:
• $18-$21 + tips, based on experience

Weekly schedule: Thursdays - Mondays, both part-time and full-time positions available
