Position Overview:
Furioso Vineyards is seeking an experienced, strategic, and service-driven Director of Hospitality to lead all guest-facing operations. This role is responsible for overseeing the tasting room, events, food program, and hospitality team while driving revenue growth and maintaining exceptional service standards. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with a passion for wine, people, and creating unforgettable guest experiences. This position has a 5-day per week workweek.

Key Responsibilities:
Hospitality Leadership
• Lead and inspire the tasting room team, setting the tone for exceptional service and professionalism
• Develop and implement hospitality standards, training programs, and service protocols
• Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement
Guest Experience
• Oversee all aspects of the tasting room experience, ensuring consistency and excellence
• Enact wine club growth and elevate member experience through personalized service and engagement
• Address guest feedback and resolve issues with professionalism and care
Revenue & Sales
• Drive DTC sales performance, focusing on the tasting room, high end experiences, and events
• Develop and execute strategies to increase conversion rates, club sign-ups, and average order value
• Analyze sales data and trends to inform decision-making and goal setting
Events & Partnerships
• Oversee planning and execution of winery events, club gatherings, and private experiences
• Collaborate with marketing and external partners to promote events and drive traffic
Operations
• Manage scheduling, staffing levels, and labor costs
• Maintain inventory oversight for retail and hospitality needs
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations

Qualifications:
• 5+ years of hospitality leadership experience (wine industry strongly preferred)
• Proven success in managing teams and driving sales performance
• Strong knowledge of wine; WSET or equivalent certification a plus
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Experience with POS and CRM systems (Commerce7, TOCK, Winepulse, etc. preferred)
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and event evenings as needed
• Kitchen/food experience a plus
