Dry Creek Vineyard is looking for a people-loving, high-energy host to be the first smile guests see when they arrive at our winery this summer. Voted Healdsburg’s Best Tasting Room, we take pride in delivering exceptional hospitality — and it all starts with you. If you thrive in the middle of the action, love making a great first impression and can juggle a little bit of everything with grace, we want to meet you.
As our Greeter, you are the heartbeat of arrival — setting the tone for every visit, guiding guests to their experience and helping create the kind of warm, memorable welcome we’re known for. From checking in reservations to directing walk-ins to our lively wine garden featuring Claudine, our vintage Citroën mobile wine bar, you’ll keep the day flowing and the energy high.
This is a fast-paced, team-driven role where no two days are the same — and that’s exactly how you like it. You might be a great fit for this role if:
• You believe first impressions aren’t just important — they’re everything
• You can spot a guest who needs help before they even ask
• You genuinely enjoy talking to people (all kinds of people, all day long)
• You stay cool under pressure and can keep things organized when it gets busy
• You like being the “air traffic controller” of a great guest experience
• You’re quick on your feet and even quicker with a warm, genuine smile
• You naturally jump in to help wherever needed — no task too big or too small
• You take pride in keeping spaces clean, stocked and looking their best
Qualifications:
• Friendly, outgoing personality with a genuine passion for hospitality
• Strong communication skills and the ability to connect with a wide range of guests
• Comfortable multitasking and staying organized in a fast-paced environment
• Positive, team-first attitude with a willingness to jump in wherever needed
• Ability to stand and work outdoors for extended periods
• Weekend availability required (Saturdays and Sundays)
• Previous winery, hospitality or restaurant experience preferred but not required
Schedule:
Seasonal (Mid-May to Mid-September), part-time role primarily on weekends (Saturdays and Sundays).
Never worked at a winery before? That’s OK — we’re happy to train the right person. Hospitality experience is preferred, but a great attitude and strong people skills matter most.
