Hospitality & Wine Educator – Lachini Vineyards

Overview
Lachini Vineyards is looking for a Hospitality & Wine professional to join our hospitality team at The Villa. This role is designed for someone who thrives in both hospitality and sales, and is motivated to help build a thoughtful, elevated wine country experience. You will play a key role in delivering a warm and engaging guest experience while supporting wine sales and wine club growth, with a clear path toward expanded responsibility and leadership as the Villa develops.

Key Responsibilities
Guest Experience & Sales
•  Host and guide guests through the Lachini tasting experience
•  Present wines, story, and brand with confidence and warmth
•  Drive wine sales and wine club sign-ups
•  Build relationships with guests, members, and industry

Operations & Support
•  Manage reservations and guest communication
•  Assist with POS (OrderPort), data capture, and follow-up
•  Support inventory, opening/closing procedures, and daily flow
•  Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation standards

Events & Outreach
•  Support private events, tastings, and activations
•  Assist with on-site and occasional off-site events
•  Help build relationships with local partners, tour operators, and referral networks

Ideal Candidate
•  3–5+ years in hospitality, wine, or guest-facing roles
•  Strong interpersonal skills and natural warmth with guests
•  Comfortable with sales and guest engagement
•  Organized, proactive, and team-oriented
•  Ability to work independently and take initiative
•  Interest in wine and storytelling

Schedule & Expectations
•  Full-time or part-time depending on experience
•  Weekends and holidays required
•  Primarily daytime hours with occasional evenings for events
•  Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a dynamic environment

Compensation
•  $22-25 (DOE) + tips
•  Growth into expanded role and compensation structure
