Our driven team of enthusiastic professionals operates out of our modern hospitality lounge and state-of-the-art winery building on the same estate property in Healdsburg.

Position Summary:
The position is a seasonal, part-time position working mostly weekends from approximately April – October of 2026 with competitive salary plus commission and the opportunity for gratuities. Estate Hosts are responsible for efficiently and effectively promoting the sale of wine through customer service, world-class hospitality, and meaningful storytelling. All efforts are focused on creating an elevated wine-focused experience. Estate Hosts work as a part of a dynamic team to create lasting memories and to meet or exceed sales goals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
*Shows commitment to excellence and high standards
*Possesses solid knowledge of wines and winemaking processes
*Anticipates guests needs and provides exceptional guest service at all times
*Maintains Hospitality Center by ensuring that it is inviting and appealing
*Flexibility, can manage constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
*Accurately operates POS system and reservation system
*Utilize strategic selling skills to encourage sales, targeting set objectives

Education and Experience
*Minimum 2 years wine industry or hospitality experience; experience in sales, customer service, or experience presenting and selling luxury goods preferred
*High school diploma or GED; two to four years college experience preferred

Qualifications:
*Must be at least 21 years of age
*Proof of eligibility to work in the US
*Completion of satisfactory criminal background check
*First-hand knowledge, appreciation for, and passion for the wine industry
*Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
*Must be a team player and maintain a positive disposition
*Present a professional appearance and demeanor


Physical Requirements
*Ability to lift and carry 45 pounds on a repeated basis
*Regularly required to sit, move on concrete, both normal and wet, turn, grasp firmly, and reach overhead
*Regularly engage in repetitive hand motion including pouring wine, drying glassware, and using a keyboard and trackpad
*Ability to carry a bar serving tray full of wine glasses, both empty and full, without incident
*Occasionally required to set up, move, or breakdown furniture, and be able to use utility carts, dollies, or other equipment to assist in moving heavy objects
*Vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
*Ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sounds.

Working Conditions
*Standard workdays are Friday through Sunday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with flexibility to include other days of the week when arranged in advance
*Must have a valid California driver’s license, clean DMV, and proof of insurability; must have reliable mode of transportation for occasional use of personal vehicle for work activities, such as errands and wine transfers.
*Work locations include indoor including shared office space and outdoor settings (both shaded and unshaded), and frequent transitions between indoors and outdoors.
*Low to moderate noise levels based on guests in the space
*Occasional exposure to temperatures below 60 degrees and above 85 degrees
*Occasional use of personal vehicle for company business

Compensation and Benefits:
Hourly Rate: $22.00 – $25.00 per hour. This is the pay range for this position that Aperture Cellars reasonably expects to pay. Actual compensation will be determined based on qualifications, skills, and experience.
