At Whitman Hill, we believe wine is more than a drink—it’s a story, a connection, and an experience. Nestled in the rolling hills just north of Zillah WA, our tasting room is a place where guests discover our estate wines, take in the tranquil vineyard landscape, and feel like part of our family.
We’re currently seeking a Part-Time or Full-Time, Assistant Hospitality Director who brings energy, warmth, and leadership to every interaction. Someone who loves connecting with people, sharing your knowledge of fine wine, and can make every guest feel seen, celebrated, and inspired.

What You’ll Do:
•  Lead engaging, educational, and unforgettable wine experiences for our guests and members
•  Share Whitman Hill’s story, winemaking philosophy, and membership benefits with confidence and enthusiasm
•  Partner with our Tasting Room Director to assist with tasting room operations, including setup, cleanup, food preparation, order fulfillment
•  Serve as Wine Club Lead, managing membership, coordinating shipments, and creating engaging experiences that deepen member loyalty
•  Tell the story of our wines, vineyard, and hospitality through engaging social media content
•  Provide support for winery events, including member releases, fundraisers, music events, blending experiences and winemaker dinners
•  Handle transactions, reservations, and guest communications with professionalism and warmth
•  Be able to lift 50lbs (wine cases!) and stand for extended periods of time
•  Provide top-notch customer service-whether in-person, by phone, or via email-to build lasting relationships

Who You Are:
•  You have a passion for wine & hospitality
•  You have strong communication and sales skills with the ability to connect with guests
•  You’re POS system savvy and can comfortably handle transactions with accuracy
•  Have a strong understanding of social media platforms with the ability to create engaging, on-brand content
•  You are flexible, organized, and available weekends, holidays, and events
•  You have reliable transportation
•  You’re able to come to work each day with heart, energy, and a smile that’s contagious
