Grassini Family Vineyards, an award-winning estate in the heart of Santa Ynez, is seeking a Sales & Hospitality Associate to join our team. This role is well-suited for a polished, dependable professional who enjoys engaging with guests, driving sales, and delivering a high-quality hospitality experience.

We produce small-lot, estate-grown wines that reflect a strong sense of place. As a front-line representative of our brand, you will play a key role in translating that story into a memorable guest experience.

Position Summary

The Sales & Hospitality Associate is responsible for delivering an elevated tasting experience that is both hospitality-driven and sales-focused. This role includes conducting guided tastings, building relationships with guests, and supporting overall tasting room operations.

Key Responsibilities
Guest Experience & Hospitality
Greet and host guests with professionalism and warmth, setting the tone for their visit
Lead engaging, semi-private and private tastings that reflect the winery’s brand and philosophy
Clearly communicate our wines, vineyard practices, and estate story
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming tasting environment

Sales & Wine Club Development
Provide thoughtful, personalized wine recommendations to drive sales
Promote and enroll guests into the wine club with clarity and confidence
Consistently meet or exceed sales and membership goals

Operations & Execution
Operate the Commerce7 POS system accurately and efficiently
Process transactions, shipping orders, and customer updates
Maintain inventory levels of wine, merchandise, and marketing materials
Complete daily opening and closing responsibilities

Additional Responsibilities
Anticipate guest needs and respond with professionalism
Assist with private events, tours, and special tastings

Qualifications
Strong interest in wine and hospitality
Prior tasting room, retail, or hospitality experience preferred
Clear communication skills and a professional presence
Sales-oriented mindset with attention to guest experience
Ability to work collaboratively within a team
Must be 21+ years of age
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs
