Compensation: $19 - $23 per hour, plus sales commissions and tips
Work Hours: 30-35 hours per week, 5 days including weekends
Reports to: Tasting Room Manager

Foxen is a family-run vineyard and winery in Santa Barbara County dedicated to crafting exceptional wines and providing an inviting, memorable experience for our guests. We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic, and professional individual to join our tasting room team.

Position Overview:
The Tasting Room Associate plays a key role in delivering outstanding hospitality to our guests. This person will guide tastings, share our winery’s story, and help create a welcoming and educational atmosphere.

Responsibilities:
•  Provide warm, attentive, and knowledgeable service to all guests
•  Lead wine tastings, sharing information about our wines, winemaking, and vineyards
•  Lead tours & tastings
•  Promote the wine club and drive wine sales
•  Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting tasting room environment
•  Assist with opening, closing and restocking
•  Process sales transactions accurately through our POS system
•  Support and work winery events
Qualifications:
•  Prior tasting room, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred
•  Experience with Wine Direct/Commerce7 is a plus
•  Passion for wine and an eagerness to learn
•  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
•  Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
•  Must be at least 21 years of age
•  Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
