Quivira Vineyards & Winery is a CCOF-certified organic estate winery in the heart of Dry Creek Valley, dedicated to crafting exceptional wines while stewarding the land through thoughtful, organic farming practices.

Our estate is known for its beautiful vineyards, organic gardens, and welcoming hospitality experiences. Guests visit Quivira to slow down, explore the property, and connect with the wines and the land that produces them. From relaxed daily tastings to private vineyard dinners and special events, Quivira offers one of the most authentic wine country experiences in Sonoma County.

Role Description

Quivira Vineyards is seeking a warm, enthusiastic Estate Host & Wine Educator to join our hospitality team.
This role focuses on creating memorable guest experiences in our tasting room while also supporting private tastings, vineyard dinners, and special events held on the estate. The ideal candidate enjoys engaging with people, sharing knowledge about wine, and helping guests feel welcomed and connected to the property.
This is a part-time position based at our estate in Dry Creek Valley.

Key Responsibilities

Welcome and host guests with warmth and professionalism
Lead engaging wine tastings and share the story of Quivira’s wines and organic farming practices
Educate guests about Dry Creek Valley and the estate vineyards
Encourage wine sales and wine club memberships through thoughtful guest engagement
Assist with reservations and guest communications
Support private tastings, vineyard dinners, and special estate events
Help maintain a polished and welcoming tasting room environment
Assist with setup, service, and breakdown for hospitality experiences and events
Work collaboratively with the hospitality and winery team

Qualifications

Strong communication and guest service skills
Background in hospitality, restaurants, wine tasting rooms, or events
Interest in wine and enthusiasm for learning more about viticulture and winemaking
Comfortable speaking with guests and leading tasting experiences
Positive, team-oriented attitude with strong attention to detail
Ability to multitask in a dynamic hospitality environment
Weekend availability required
