Position Overview
Lepe Cellars is looking for a friendly and outgoing individual for a part-time role in our tasting room located in Carmel Valley Village. If you are an energetic self-starter who wants to contribute to the growth of a premium boutique wine brand, we would be pleased to have you join our team.

Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and create an inviting atmosphere for a high-quality tasting experience.
- Recommend wines and help guests with their purchases.
- Introduce and promote wine club memberships.
- Accurately process POS transactions, wine orders, and shipping requests.
- Retrieve, carry, and pack wine orders for guests.
- Keep guest and membership information updated in the POS system.
- Host and guide consumer, trade, and VIP guests through wine tasting and hospitality experiences.
- Present Lepe wines, their history, and winemaking philosophy in a professional manner.
- Follow up with guests through email or phone to foster relationships and encourage repeat visits.
- Represent the winery at events like trade tastings, consumer events, and private client gatherings as assigned.
- Share guest feedback and service trends with management for potential improvements.
- Manage individual guests or multiple groups efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Ensure a clean, organized, and professional workspace.
- Address guest concerns in a prompt and professional manner.
- Maintain a welcoming and well-presented tasting room environment.
- Restock wine, merchandise, and tasting materials as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience & Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience in hospitality or customer service, ideally in the wine industry, hospitality, or similar service settings.
- Wine knowledge is a plus but not mandatory.
- Professional appearance and keen attention to detail.
- Capacity to excel in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Availability to work on weekends, holidays, and varying shifts according to business requirements.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 lbs, with regular squatting and kneeling as needed for hospitality service.
- Applicants must be at least 21 years old.
