We are looking for a charismatic, goal driven, enthusiastic member to add to our intimate winery team on a part time basis on Friday, Saturday and Sundays (full time may be possible for the right candidate with flexibility). Fontanella Family winery is a small, family owned, ultra premium winery located on Mt. Veeder in close proximity to downtown Napa. Our winery is primarily DTC with a robust wine club and well established loyal customer base. We host private wine tastings in our tasting room 7 days a week. We are looking to hire a new team member to help take our winery to the next level. Our ideal candidate loves people and building relationships, sales and goal oriented and has a keen eye for the nuance of what hospitality means in all respects from answering the phone to closing the sale! Job does require weekend work and occasional holidays. Some telesales experience is a plus as well.

Job Responsibilities:

- Host tasting groups in an intimate environment over the weekends.
- Job requires Friday, Saturday and Sunday availability and potentially one additional weekday.
- Develop strong relationships with private drivers and local concierges to promote visitation.
- Help support Hospitality Manager and Fontanella team with winery needs.
- Set up and break down tasting room and patio.
- Provide premium customer service to winery guests and wine club members and cater to customer needs.
-Help maintain tasting room appearance, cleanliness and general maintenance.
-Answer phones as needed including general customer service for all customers.
-Respond to incoming appointment requests via phone.
-Provide support for winery events as needed.
-Encourage wine sales and club sign ups.
-Must be able to work weekends and occasional holidays.


QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

-Winery tasting room experience and/or sales experience a plus but not required.
- A positive "yes" attitude about hospitality and work.
-Ability to work weekends (when most people come taste!)
-Excellent interpersonal skills whether in-person, by phone or through email correspondence.
-Experience with Commerce 7 a plus.
-Knowledgeable about wine and the Napa Valley appellation/story.
-Experienced at multi-tasting and pivoting when needed.
-Team-work oriented and willing to help in any way needed.
-Great attitude, self-driven and hospitality focused!
-Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
-Ability to work in a standing and/or walking position for long periods of time.
-Must be 21 years of age or older.
-Schedule includes weekends and occasional holidays.
