Situated in the rolling hills of Napa Valley’s Carneros District, Hudson Napa Valley has been growing grapes for exceptional winemakers for over 45 years and today crafts Hudson wines from select parcels across our 2,000-acre estate.
We are seeking a Part-Time Brand Ambassador to join us on property, entrusted with the full care of our guests, members, clients, and trade visitors at our winery. We seek candidates who share our commitment to delivering highly personalized guest experiences rooted in the Hudson tradition of gracious hospitality.
As an ambassador of Hudson, you are often the first to welcome guests onto our estate, serving as both host and storyteller while embodying our values and ensuring every visitor feels authentically welcomed and genuinely valued.
This is a part-time position requiring weekend availability.
This role requires more than hospitality experience. It calls for a deep appreciation of wine culture and the ecosystem that supports our craft, from farming and ecology to culinary arts, travel, history, and refined hospitality. The ideal candidate brings curiosity, an intuitive understanding of hospitality, and the ability to create meaningful, lasting connections that reflect the spirit of our estate.
Key Responsibilities:
• Share the story of Hudson, including our land, family, vineyards, wines, and history, with authenticity and depth.
• Experience leading private, seated tasting experiences.
• Cultivate enduring relationships with members and collectors, strengthening long-term loyalty.
• Build new relationships with key partners across wineries, luxury accommodations, and transportation services.
• Deliver polished, guest-centered service with warmth and precision.
• Confidently host groups of varying sizes with presence and professionalism.
• Utilize CRM and reservation systems with ease to manage scheduling, communication, and follow-up.
• Communicate thoughtfully via phone and email, extending the hospitality experience beyond the property.
• Assist in executing elevated events and special experiences on property.
• Contribute meaningfully to a small, collaborative team, supporting operational needs and embracing a multifaceted role.

Qualifications and Skills:
• Minimum of three years of experience in wine, hospitality, luxury retail, or a related field.
• College degree preferred. WSET or similar wine education is a plus.
• Genuine enthusiasm and a positive, grounded presence.
• Strong public speaking skills and the ability to engage guests with confidence and ease.
• Adaptability and composure in a dynamic, ever-evolving environment.
• Availability to work weekends and select holidays.
• Physically capable of leading walking tours of the property multiple times per day, including navigating vineyard paths, uneven terrain, and varying weather conditions.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and assist with the physical aspects of hospitality service.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Successful completion of reference check.
• Candidates must reside within a reasonable drive to Carneros.
• Prior experience with Commerce7 and Tock platforms is preferred.
