A Rafanelli Winery is a fourth-generation family winery in the Dry Creek Valley. We are seeking a friendly, enthusiastic, and passionate individual to join the hospitality team. Our ideal candidate would display an extraordinary level of customer service, providing a positive experience at all points of contact for our long-time mailing list customers, and new customers alike. This role ensures every guest enjoys a memorable and exceptional winery experience, with a strong emphasis on storytelling, outstanding customer service, wine education, sales performance, and ability to encourage guest enrollment in our customer list.

This position offers an opportunity to gain experience in a well-established, team oriented, family owned winery. Candidates with all levels of wine knowledge are welcome to apply, and prior winery experience is not required. Excellent customer service is our priority.

Tasting Room Duties:

Conduct wine tastings and first-class hospitality to all guests
Promote the privileges and benefits of our mailing list to all guests
Actively promote a positive atmosphere and culture of excellence through teamwork, job knowledge, work ethic and flexibility
Conduct tasting room opening and closing procedures

Administrative Duties:

Answer phone calls and return messages
Process and manage shipping orders
Schedule tasting appointments
Keep accurate and detailed records
Maintain office supplies

Qualifications:

Must be at least 21 years of age
Capable to work independently and as a member of a department team
Weekend work and flexibility in scheduling required
Computer proficient
Ability to learn Commerce7 POS and supporting software
Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and presentation skills required
Ability to stand on your feet for long periods of time and lift over 45 lbs.
