Casino Mine Ranch is seeking detail-oriented, hardworking interns to join us for the 2026 harvest season. Located in the heart of the Sierra Foothills just outside Plymouth, California, our ranch is rooted in history, land, and hands-on winemaking.
We’re a small, collaborative cellar team, which means harvest interns at CMR don’t get siloed—you’ll be involved in many aspects of production from fruit intake to barrel work. We take our work seriously, but we also believe harvest should be challenging, educational, and genuinely enjoyable. Great wine, good people, long days, and a strong sense of shared purpose.
Duties may include (but are not limited to):
Sanitation and cleaning of cellar equipment
Fruit processing and receiving
Fermentation monitoring
Punchdowns and pumpovers
Barrel work
Basic lab work
Forklift operation
Equipment maintenance
Vineyard sampling
Requirements:
Prior winery experience or enrollment in a wine program is a plus
Positive attitude and strong work ethic, especially during long days
Ability to work long, irregular, and unpredictable hours
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Forklift experience is a plus
The internship typically runs from mid-August through late October, depending on weather and harvest conditions.
Housing is available for interns who may need it.
