Job Description:

Looking for a harvest internship for 2026? Perfect, we’re looking for interns!

You:
You’re dependable, hard-working, curious, and excited to learn. You love Pinot Noir, have a soft spot for Riesling, and don’t mind getting your hands dirty. Long days, fast-paced work, and being part of a hands-on cellar team sounds like a good time to you.

Us:
We are a family-owned winery in the heart of Oregon’s Eola-Amity Hills, we farm biodynamically and sustainably, make wines we’re truly proud of (and drink plenty of delicious wines too!), and genuinely care about each other and our land. Our estate vineyard is planted to Pinot Noir, Riesling, and Pinot Gris, and we also work with some amazing growers across the Willamette Valley. From these sites, we source some additional Pinot Noir and Riesling, along with Gamay Noir, Syrah, Gewürztraminer, Muscat, and Pinot Blanc.

The internship:
Each member of our harvest intern team will gain hands-on experience across all aspects of cellar work, from fruit intake through fermentation management, with occasional opportunities to assist in the vineyard. This is an immersive harvest for those eager to learn, work hard, and be part of a close-knit cellar team. We provide on-site accommodation during harvest, daily lunches prepared by our winery chef, and competitive compensation with plenty of overtime.

Primary responsibilities:
- Lots of cleaning and sanitation (it’s harvest, after all!)
- Fruit sorting and sampling for maturity assessment
- Equipment setup and breakdown
- Fermentation cap management and monitoring
- Press operations
- Barrel work
- Data collection and sensory evaluation

Requirements:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Attention to detail and awareness of safety hazards
- Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly and work on your feet for 10+ hours on concrete
- Valid authorization to work in the U.S. or eligibility for a J-1 visa
- Availability to commit to 6–8 weeks beginning as early as September 1, 2026

If this seems like a fit please reply to this post with your resume or CV, and a short cover letter. We look forward to connecting with you!
