About Art of the Vineyard
Art of the Vineyard is an elevated art and wine tasting gallery debuting in historic Downtown Paso Robles. The Tasting Gallery pairs limited-edition, fine art-labeled wines from the pioneering winery Carmody McKnight with original works by acclaimed artist Gary Conway and featured artists. Each visit is designed as a curated sensory experience, blending fine art, expressive wines, and inspiring creative engagement.

About the Role
We are seeking a polished, guest-centric Wine Host / Wine Educator to deliver refined, personalized tasting experiences for discerning guests and collectors. This role is ideal for hospitality professionals who excel in luxury brand environments, understand premium wine presentation, and can confidently guide guests through art-inspired wine narratives with sophistication and ease.

Responsibilities
•  Deliver memorable guest experiences telling a rich, unique story of viticultural, winemaking, artistic and cultural heritage.
•  Present Paso Robles wine culture, terroir, and destination experiences with inspiration, depth and relevance.
•  Present featured wines through structured tasting flights, by the bottle and by the glass, paired with curated fine art, activities and events.
•  Drive bottle and case sales through relationship-based hospitality.
•  Execute POS transactions with precision.
•  Maintain impeccable Gallery presentation and service standards.
•  Support private tastings, artist features, and special events.

About You
•  You are at least 21 years old and hold CA Food Handler and RBS certifications.
•  You have 2+ years' experience in hospitality, winery, luxury sales, or a related industry.
•  You are passionate about wine and the luxury lifestyle; wine certification (WSET, SWE, CMS) is preferred.
•  You are a relatable, empathetic host and comfortable with your presentation skills.
•  You appreciate fine art, crafts, cinema, visual and performing arts.
•  You are highly organized and able to thrive in a dynamic creative environment.
•  You excel at leading tastings and group events.
•  You are motivated by sales and building long-term relationships.
•  You have experience with wine club, POS, and reservation systems, and are eager to master new systems/tech.

Schedule & Compensation
•  Part-time; weekends and special events required.
•  Competitive hourly compensation plus tips and performance incentives.
•  Ongoing wine, brand and art education provided.
