Job Description:

SUMMARY
The Tasting Room Administrator is responsible for communication with guests via phone and email and is the main contact for customer questions, requests, and reservations. This role will support the Tasting Room Manager and Hospitality team with particular attention to coordinating reservations, break schedules, inventory, and exceptional customer service.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Be a brand ambassador of the Winery in all aspects of the job, providing exceptional service at all times, in-person, on the phone, and by email.
Be knowledgeable on all programs and policies of the hospitality department, to uphold standards both within the department and when handling customer service.
Schedule, book, and modify reservations.
Build and maintain the reservation calendar using Tock.
Provide timely and professional responses to phone and email inquiries.
Maintain company physical and electronic files.
Process and edit customer orders and information using Tock and Commerce7.
Provide backup support to the tasting room and kitchen to cover rest and meal breaks.
Accurately input data, orders, and other information with attention to detail.
Prepare pre-service paperwork and confirm all modifications are ready.
Order supplies, wines, and kitchen items, and ensure we have the correct quantities.
Maintain wine inventory, complete transfers, and conduct monthly inventory counts.
Prepare for and follow up with Trade tasting guest and wholesale team.
Assist monthly employee schedules and daily station assignments with lunch breaks for the hospitality team.
Follow through all daily operations to completion.
Able to prioritize efficiently with an everchanging flow and multitask.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience, Knowledge, and Skills
High school graduate. College Education preferred.
Must be 21 years of age or older.
RBS and Food Handler’s Certified or able to successfully pass certification.
Excellent (oral and written) communication and interpersonal skills with colleagues, customers, and management.
Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities.
Strong Computer skills, fast and accurate typing, mastery of Microsoft Suite and Canva.
Previous POS knowledge, Commerce7, Tock, Hubspot, NAV and ShipCompliant a plus.
Wine Industry/Administrative Experience
Marketing experience a plus, including both mass and direct
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, where the noise level is usually moderate

Physical Demands
Frequent sitting and standing
Frequent walking on level and unlevel surfaces
Occasional bending, twisting, and climbing
Ability to occasionally kneel, crouch, and crawl
Occasional reaching above and below shoulder
Fine motor skills needed for frequent computer usage and handwritten tasks.
Continuous use of mouse and keyboard. Occasional grasping and squeezing
Ability to lift or carry 0-50 pounds occasionally, and over 50 pounds intermittently
Ability to push or pull 0-50 pounds occasionally, and over 50 pounds intermittently

Hourly Pay Range: $21.00 - $23.00 (Depending on Experience)
Work Schedule: Thursday - Monday
*Must be available to work holidays
