Palmaz Vineyards is a family-owned historic vineyard and winery cave that produces exclusive small-production Cabernet Sauvignon. This dynamic family-run business is best known for its spectacular winery cave system, where the entire winery operation is based inside the base of Mount George.
Job Summary:
Palmaz Vineyards is seeking a dynamic individual to fill a key sales ambassador role at the winery estate in Napa Valley. Qualified candidates will offer "five-star" guest experiences to new and existing clients visiting the estate. The ideal candidate will succeed in this role when they effectively close on wine sale opportunities, sign up clients for tiered Brasas memberships, and consistently provide exceptional hospitality to all customers. Candidates must be articulate, self-motivated, and customer service-oriented and can work weekends and holidays as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
-Host private guided tours of the vineyard, winery, and wines with new and existing clients/members
-Conduct targeted customer nurturing and Wine sales both via tours and both inbound and outbound phone calls/emails
-Focus on long-term client rapport building and development through personalized communications assigned to clients and members
-Perform opening and closing tasting room duties such as inventory control and stocking.
-Assisting in occasional on-premise special events in the evenings
Qualifications:
-Must have a gracious and hospitable persona that engages guests and makes them feel at home.
-Proven success in selling premium wine or luxury goods to discerning clientele.
-True passion and enthusiasm for hospitality, wine, and the Napa Valley lifestyle.
-Ability to multi-task and prioritize daily operations calmly and courteously.
-Have an upbeat attitude while in a fast-paced environment.
-Have a flexible schedule, including weekends and occasional evenings.
-Must be at least 21 years of age.
-Proficiency in iPad and Apple computer platforms preferred.
-Able to lift at least 40 lbs. and ability to stand for long durations. r

Supplemental pay types:
• Commission pay at 10% of all net sales booked by the salesperson
